Framed Letter Embroidery Workshop Edinburgh Studio

Join textile artist Lucy Freeman at her Edinburgh studio to create your own framed embroidered letter!

Your ticket includes all materials including a brass or silver frame with a velvet ribbon. You'll also get all the embroidery kit: fabric, threads, templates, and an embroidery hoop and needle. Plus, you get to take everything home with you!

We will start from the basics of threading a needle and then learn Lucy's four simple stitches. Beginners are welcome as well as experienced stitchers looking to learn a new framing technique.

There'll be the option to create your own design with Lucy's help, or use one of her templates. A wide variety of fabric, thread and ribbon colours will be available to choose from.

The workshop will be held at Lucy's art studio, so you'll also get to have a look round at her ongoing projects and the artwork on display. The space also means that this will be a small workshop, with a maximum of five attendees - so book early to ensure your spot!
