Introduction to Botanical Embroidery Bristol 11th May

Join textile artist Lucy Freeman for an introduction to botanical embroidery at Cass Art Bristol.

You'll be learning contemporary embroidery, an easy to learn, quick and expressive way to embroider. It's simpler than traditional methods and produces beautiful painterly results!

You will start from the absolute basics of threading a needle and so all abilities are welcome. From complete beginners to experienced stitchers looking to try out a new style.

All materials provided: fabric, threads, designs, an embroidery hoop and needle, as well as instructional sheets and access to video tutorials so you can continue to learn more after the workshop. Plus, you get to take everything home with you to continue sewing at home.
